This was such a beautiful story about friendship, motherhood, identity and culture. Loved the Spanish links and culture and really felt like I was in Spain. Was very atmospheric and I could just see all the terracotta and colourful flowers and feel the warmth of the sun! Perfect time of year to have read this as well. Enjoyed the mystery element too of the main protagonist unravelling her early life years.

Knocked off 1 star because at times it felt a little disjointed/all over the place and too much going on with too many characters coming and going but it did also make it feel like real life relationships.
