This is a short closing Novella to this beautiful series. This book focuses on Shannon, the Miles family matriarch, and Ben, the long-time family friend. This book starts in the past, and the reader gets a sneak perspective of the day Ben and Shannon met. Then jumps to the future bouncing between Ben and Shannon's point of view. I love how The Miles family, the ones we have read in this series, are still present in this book and tend to get in Ben's way. It is funny to watch Shannon sept discover a side of herself she hasn't felt in a long time. It is refreshing to see Ben romance her. They may be old, but they aren't dead yet. Love can. Love can bloom at any age, and I love that this author takes the leap in this novella to show us an older generation discovering love and romance and they are happily ever after.
And the extended prologue in this will lead you right into another series by this same author.

Great Ending
What a great way to wrap up a great series! I love the Miles family and I’m SO glad Momma Miles got her HEA. It’s just as swoon worthy as the rest of them.

A wonderful wrap up to a wonderful series
I really liked this book. It was so great to see Shannon and Ben have their HEA. I knew it would happen; it was written in the stars all along, but this was a wonderful way to bring the story full circle. I really loved the gifts he gave her. He’s dreamy for sure.

Y llegamos al ultimo libro de los Miles, a ver que me gusto que Ben y Shannon tuvieran su oportunidad, que no esperaran mucho para tener su feliz para siempre, para mi esta pequeña historia fue un cierre hermoso para toda esta serie, corta si, pero con la suficiente historia que vamos desarrollarse en todo el libro para estos dos.

We have all heard that saying, "What is better than young love? Old love." This was the truest of the true when talking about Shannon and Ben.
Both have been seriously hurt in life, waited years before their friendship turned more and deserved this love story.
I love the Miles family and recommend everyone read this series.
