It's an interesting collection of short stories set at Christmastime, some of the author were new to me and I was happy to discover them.
Not all the stories are at the same level but they're almost all engrossing and entertaining.
Another interesting and entertaining book by British Library Crime Classics.
It's highly recommended!
Many thanks to the publisher and Edelweiss for this ARC, all opinions are mine.

Really 3.5 stars. A mixed bag, but right up my alley.

This collection of short stories by masters of the crime genre is interesting as a sampler of writers from the late Golden Age. While somewhat uneven in execution, the stories are classics of the locked room, impossible murder type of mystery typical of their era. They are an enjoyable read, and will lead you to other books now being published as part of the British Crime Classics series.

As an anthology fan, I enjoyed this nice mix of stories. The editor is excellent, and provided excellent intros. Kudos on the selections overall. Recommended.

I really appreciate the advanced copy for review!!
