A refreshing story for a common genre aka vampire vs. werewolf. What I did not like was their names - Misery & Lowe. But the plot was intriguing without being too complicated. I appreciated that their wasn't too many major issues between the MCs, despite them being opposite species that hate each other. Some of the plot twists were pretty good and only a few minor threads were left loose. Like we never know if they kill Misery's father (main villain) or what they do with Mick for betraying his pack. The twist with Serena was also very pleasantly unexpected. Honestly, at times I got Twilight vibes so overall not bad.

this is barely even omegaverse. some of yall would never survive the trenches of mlm fanfiction.
besides having to read about knotting in a real life published book, this was a fun and cute read. did the outside plot and world building make much sense? no. but misery and lowe slayed and i ate this book up!
