I hope I never have to face the trauma that magnolia went through. Truly I would not be able to live through losing my sister.

This. Wrecked. Me.

I don’t even know how to accurately put this book into words without giving too much away 😩 What I can say is that Magnolia absolutely frustrated me for the first 60% of this. More so than she has in any other book up to this point. Yes, she’s grieving, but holy hell was she selfish in her grief. I seriously didn’t think she was capable of thinking of anyone but herself, especially BJ. BJ CARRIED this book. The πŸ‘πŸ» growth πŸ‘πŸ» was so beautifully written. And the way he cares for Magnolia through everything πŸ₯Ή I wanted Magnolia to snap out of it and care for him the same way, WAY sooner. It takes her a hot minute to get with it, but by the end I was so incredibly proud of her.

I am absolutely terrified for the next Daisy book. What’s set up in this book for the next book, has me honestly so scared. Julian is everything and what goes down in this one is heartbreaking and I absolutely need his POV, like rn.

Overall, this is HEARTBREAKING, but it’ll put you back together in the best way β€οΈβ€πŸ©Ή

Magnolia Parks: Into the Dark is the emotional conclusion to B.J. and Magnolia’s story. I loved this book, but with that being said, this wasn’t a five star read like the other books in the series for me. I felt like the other books in this series flowed much better due, in part, that they weren’t as long as this book is. It’s tricky when your contemporary is over 500 pages to keep the flow of the book snappy and dynamic. I love long epic fantasy novels, but with contemporaries I tend to prefer trimly edited books.
