I’ve been silent for about 16-17 minutes after reading this book I don’t know if I’m still processing that this is the end of Magnolia and BJ’s story. I’m not wishing that they go through anymore trauma or drama, but it feels bittersweet and a good way.

This off for me so very sad and I just kept crying and crying because we all know what happened I just wish we didn’t have to experience this hurtful event. I don’t know if this is an event that push them closer together because I actually believe that things still would’ve happened the way it did with the event not happening and everyone being there.

This was very difficult to read, because you just at least for me kept getting hit with this overwhelming attachment that magnolia was filling, and it was written so well, but with everything the other shoe has to drop and boy did it.

I understand that Magnolia is naïve and very immature and is the character that wants everyone to love her and all these other negative Gray area irks. But to be inside her head and to understand why she’s processing it the way she is makes it less annoying and I really love being in BJ’s head.

There’s so many unanswered questions for me, at least because of the dangerous aspect of magnolia universe but I think I’m OK with those unanswered questions.

I can honestly say that I am so glad I read Magnolia books and it took me on a journey hurt and messy, toxic codependence relationships, but to see finally a happy ending and how much it took to get to that ending was a good experience

This book was my first cry of 2024 when it comes to reading and I’m happy to add it as a first. I definitely recommend this and RIP to the smartest girl in the world, or at least in magnolia universe!!

this was a wonderful ending to this love story. i love the consistent theme of how many loves do you get in a lifetime and how that is answered (?) in this book. the character development in this book over all the others is exquisite and i love that they take the journey together as they do everything.
i did miss Bridget but I'm glad she made so many appearances. the ending with the wedding and mags getting pregnant was actually perfect and one of the rare times i enjoyed a pregnancy trope.
the growth, grief, and love in this book was so well displayed i can see how people are saying this is 200-300 too long but simply i disagree and loved every minute of it. literally sobbed in chapter 2 (sad) and the end (happy).

‘How many loves do you get in a lifetime?’

This was so deep and emotional. This whole series is a whirlwind of emotions.

This book was majority about the topics of grief, family issues and trust issues. It is very heavy but it was amazing.
After reading about Magnolia in the first books you can see that the way she handles grief is very on character. Majority of the avoidance of acknowledging the death. She also goes through major things with adhd diagnosis, eating disorder, and trust and family issues.

I know that this series isn’t going to be everyone’s favourite due to the cheating but I have really enjoyed it. This has definitely been my favourite of Magnolias and BJs story though.

I feel like after all they had been through together that they did need there happy ending and to just have some peace. I wasn’t a huge fan of BJ previously but I really enjoyed his character in this and their growth in the relationship. They really had some sweet moments in this.

So all up, I do recommend reading this series but check TWs as they go into very deep topics. Your mental health is important!

Can’t wait to read some more of Daisy soon!

Happy reading 🤍
