This. Wrecked. Me.

I donโ€™t even know how to accurately put this book into words without giving too much away ๐Ÿ˜ฉ What I can say is that Magnolia absolutely frustrated me for the first 60% of this. More so than she has in any other book up to this point. Yes, sheโ€™s grieving, but holy hell was she selfish in her grief. I seriously didnโ€™t think she was capable of thinking of anyone but herself, especially BJ. BJ CARRIED this book. The ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป growth ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป was so beautifully written. And the way he cares for Magnolia through everything ๐Ÿฅน I wanted Magnolia to snap out of it and care for him the same way, WAY sooner. It takes her a hot minute to get with it, but by the end I was so incredibly proud of her.

I am absolutely terrified for the next Daisy book. Whatโ€™s set up in this book for the next book, has me honestly so scared. Julian is everything and what goes down in this one is heartbreaking and I absolutely need his POV, like rn.

Overall, this is HEARTBREAKING, but itโ€™ll put you back together in the best way โค๏ธโ€๐Ÿฉน

Magnolia Parks: Into the Dark is the emotional conclusion to B.J. and Magnoliaโ€™s story. I loved this book, but with that being said, this wasnโ€™t a five star read like the other books in the series for me. I felt like the other books in this series flowed much better due, in part, that they werenโ€™t as long as this book is. Itโ€™s tricky when your contemporary is over 500 pages to keep the flow of the book snappy and dynamic. I love long epic fantasy novels, but with contemporaries I tend to prefer trimly edited books.

The start broke my heart, the cliffhanger of 2 was cruel and this picked up and broke my heart throughout.
Three cheers for finally going to therapy. It only took a beloved character death to get them there together.

Magnolia is the sweetest little wilfully ignorant toff and we love her for it. Even though you want her to get a clue that she is associating with gang lords.
This book is the end of Magnolia and BJโ€™s main story and itโ€™s a sweet ending.
But my goodness am I nervous about the next Daisy Haites, and I have no doubt Jessa will do what is needed for me to be devastated and satisfied.

Iโ€™ve been silent for about 16-17 minutes after reading this book I donโ€™t know if Iโ€™m still processing that this is the end of Magnolia and BJโ€™s story. Iโ€™m not wishing that they go through anymore trauma or drama, but it feels bittersweet and a good way.

This off for me so very sad and I just kept crying and crying because we all know what happened I just wish we didnโ€™t have to experience this hurtful event. I donโ€™t know if this is an event that push them closer together because I actually believe that things still wouldโ€™ve happened the way it did with the event not happening and everyone being there.

This was very difficult to read, because you just at least for me kept getting hit with this overwhelming attachment that magnolia was filling, and it was written so well, but with everything the other shoe has to drop and boy did it.

I understand that Magnolia is naรฏve and very immature and is the character that wants everyone to love her and all these other negative Gray area irks. But to be inside her head and to understand why sheโ€™s processing it the way she is makes it less annoying and I really love being in BJโ€™s head.

Thereโ€™s so many unanswered questions for me, at least because of the dangerous aspect of magnolia universe but I think Iโ€™m OK with those unanswered questions.

I can honestly say that I am so glad I read Magnolia books and it took me on a journey hurt and messy, toxic codependence relationships, but to see finally a happy ending and how much it took to get to that ending was a good experience

This book was my first cry of 2024 when it comes to reading and Iโ€™m happy to add it as a first. I definitely recommend this and RIP to the smartest girl in the world, or at least in magnolia universe!!

this was a wonderful ending to this love story. i love the consistent theme of how many loves do you get in a lifetime and how that is answered (?) in this book. the character development in this book over all the others is exquisite and i love that they take the journey together as they do everything.
i did miss Bridget but I'm glad she made so many appearances. the ending with the wedding and mags getting pregnant was actually perfect and one of the rare times i enjoyed a pregnancy trope.
the growth, grief, and love in this book was so well displayed i can see how people are saying this is 200-300 too long but simply i disagree and loved every minute of it. literally sobbed in chapter 2 (sad) and the end (happy).
