This review is for Silver Bells by Alta Hensley

Oh this is yummy, a strong but vulnerable heroine caught in a dangerous path meets a powerful man willing to offer his protection and assistance…for a price.

You can imagine the price a man like Nick Hudson wants from Lyriope. She’s not too broken up about it either. This story is just enough to whet your appetite forNick and Lyriope’s full story, King of Soades coming in Spring 2022. I can’t wait to read more about these two. Their chemistry is off the charts!

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Unfortunately more of these were 2-3⭐️ than 3-4⭐️. Some felt incomplete. Nothing really Christmasy about any of these FYI other than their is a Christmas party/gala.

I really loved the concept of this anthology of short stories. They all had the central theme of going to the Morelli Christmas Party but all the authors took their own characters and seamlessly made it feel like you are interacting with different guests. I enjoyed some short story more than others but overall I was introduced to a new world and want to learn more. There are several new books and authors added to by tbr after reading this.

O Holy Night by Pam Godwin was absolutely wonderful. I loved getting more of Tinsley and Magnus another small piece of their world for us to enjoy.

Overall, this is a collection of amazing stories by wonderful authors that’s a must read.

Skye Warren, Amelia Wilde snd Giana Darlings stories were intriguing enough to want to read more. So now I have two new authors that I didn’t know about.

There are 16 stories total but I got bored reading 1 story after the other and skipped several in the middle.

Baby It's Cold Outside by Giana Darling:

I received an eARC in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

What a sweet little number this was. I loved seeing Elena and Dante back in action again. I forgot how much chemistry these two have, it just jumps right off the page. This story was very short but so worth it! We get a little insight into Dangerous Temptation so I would say, make sure you read this book first and then dive into Dangerous Temptation!
