As my first introduction to Urban books. I loved it. Now was it long, a little thick. Hell yeah, but definitely like it was worth the read. It kinda turned me out, in a good way. Cause I been in my dark romance bag. But now I about to dive head first into the urban romance world. If anybody got any recs I would love them. This was a beautiful read. And I just want to add Dream’s daddy can burn in hell !! Grandpapa I stand!! Demon, I stand !! Smoke I stand as well!!

4.5⭐️ Listen. I already knew I was going to love this book from the cover alone. This was such an addicting read. It played out like your favorite urban, dark, spicy, “fuck with mine and I’ll kill you” TV show. Just the fun I needed. I hate miscommunication in books and real life. That’s the only reason I couldn’t give this a full 5 stars.

Do I love my men a little unhinged…yes! Does Demon and Smoke deliver that? Again yes! I loved how they unpacked trauma and love in this book! 

Dayana is a little Harley Quinn lol.
