I feel that despite the author's approach to the subject matter she still tries to cover too much in one book. The chapters about alternative gender/sexuality and race felt ... very surface level and crammed into the straight lens the author is coming from. 

not really sure how to feel about anything else in it.

Such an informative and relevant book for 2020. Orenstein discusses subject matter from toxic masculinity to queer hook up culture and much more. Although the subject matter is intense, you will not regret reading this!
