I've watched all 22 seasons of Top Chef and every spin off.  Out of all the winners, Kristen is my favorite.  There was something so sweet and humble about her and watching her come back from LCK was exhilarating.  I still remember watching her final LCK episode and the finale of that season of Top Chef.  So obviously I loved this.  It's been a good week for memoirs for me!

I enjoyed this memoir as a Top Chef  fan. Kristen was always one of my favourite contestants. I thought it was pretty insightful- listening to her story from the perspective as a Korean adoptee raised by a white family in Michigan and who is also a member of the LGBTQ+ community. I found tales from her early life and career to be more engaging than later chapters, I did love the chapter she devoted to her wife.
