It was interesting to learn more about Kish's life. From her upbringing, to her start in the food world, to her expansion in television. The journey was amazing to read. There were so many changes in direction over the years, from significant to slight, that lead to where she is now. I appreciated the overall message of the book, that accidents can happen on purpose. That if we lean into the unexpected, the new, the change of course... we have the opportunity to create joy for ourselves that we may not find otherwise.

If you like Kristen Kish, you'll like this memoir. This was a lovely insight into Kristen and her career (and a little background). I particularly enjoyed the Top Chef pieces, but also surprisingly enjoyed the times between Top Chef appearances when she was still early in her career trying to figure things out.
The parts about her family and wife were surprisingly emotional, and in the audiobook, you can hear how much love she has for those in her life.
Well written and well narrated.
