I loved Kristen Kish on season 10 of Top Chef.  I was rooting for her the entire time.  I loved Fast Foodies - a fun and original low stakes food competition show in what can be a competitive and repetitive food competition world.  I was excited to see her hosting on the Iron Chef reboot.  And I was so excited when she was selected to replace Padma as the host of Top Chef.  All that to say that I really enjoyed this memoir and getting to know her a little more and to see those things that I have watched play out on television from her point of view.

I loved this book! Kristen was so open and honest and covered a lot of ground about her life and evolution... which, was very interesting and exciting. In fact, I intended to just check her out on "Restaurants at the End of the World" and got hooked. She is so talented (clearly), but she also seems to be grounded and very lovely. If you like reading memoirs, but also love food and adventure, this book should please you.

I really like Kristen and she has an interesting story to tell, but it felt like this memoir only scratched the surface.
