Liked more in concept than execution, but gives you something to think about

Great thought experiment, very light reading considering the subject matter. More a conversation starter than a full conversation. Enjoyable. Hamid's sentences run on forever though which could be distracting!

The style is mannered--exclusively run on sentences, run on thoughts.

Thought provoking.  As a white person, I found it to be an important reading experience, personally.

Not even remotely shocking since I adore exit West so much but this was a delight. Anders and Oona are such flawed people and as this massive cultural shift occurs, they navigate that part of their relationship, but also all of the normal human parts in a really really interesting way.
