What starts as a meet-disaster turns into fake dating, with opposites attract as well as autistic and anxiety rep (also a hedgehog who loves bubble baths and two geriatric cats). I will always hate a third act breakup that doesn’t need to happen, and this one really just didn’t make sense to me. And then the resolution to the conflict also felt very conveniently contrived.  I appreciate the improving communication the main characters have throughout most of the book, which makes this third act feel that much more wrong for them.

I wanted to read this book because I’ve seen so many things about Chloe Liese on the Book Community. I saw this book in my local bookshop and was instantly drawn to the cover due to Bea’s tattoos. So, I bought it and I adore this book.

This book has two points of view. The first is Bea Wilmot and she has a creative block due to her toxic ex-boyfriend. She is struggling to paint anything and doesn’t know how to fix it and she definitely doesn’t want a relationship any time soon. The second point of view is Jamie Westenberg. He is the family disappointment; he didn’t become a surgeon and his girlfriend left him for his father’s practice. He is content on his own and definitely doesn’t want a relationship anytime soon. Jamie and Bea have nothing in common except a meet-disaster and the mutual understanding that they couldn’t be more wrong for each other. But when Bea’s twin sister Jules and Jamie’s roommate Jean Claude, who are together, they decide to play Cupid and try and set Bea and Jamie up together. Turns out they have something else in common: an undeniable need for revenge. Soon their plan is in place: Fake date obnoxiously and convince the meddlers they’re made in love. Then, break up spectacularly and dash their hopes, putting an end to the matchmaking madness once and for all. To convince everyone that they’ve fallen for each other, Jamie and Bea will have to nail the performance of their lives, but as their final act nears and playing lovers becomes easier than not, they begin to wonder, what if Cupid’s arrow wasn’t so off the mark?

I LOVE THIS FREAKING BOOK, I love Bea, I love Jamie. I love the dynamic and I love the storyline. I love that the Jamie was the freaky one and yet Bea is more outspoken and yet she is shyer, when it comes to the bedroom. I just love the layers in these characters, considering this is the first Chloe Liese book I've ever read, I loved it and I want to read more of her work. Jamie is a fine ass and respectful man and I want one of him please. He was so charming and didn’t have the bad boy aspect but damn that man has a WAY with words. It had all tropes I love – enemies to lovers, don’t touch and die, talking about mental health and have LGBT representation. I found it so important, and it felt so relatable.

I want more of these characters. I want to know more about the beef between Kate and Christopher and I want Jules to get her HEA because she deserves it so much.

A little slow in the beginning but once they met up later, it moved very quickly. I very much enjoyed watching this relationship develop. I'm not a huge fan of the reason for their conflict near the end but it all worked out in the end. Love Chloe Liese's books and can't wait for Kate and Christopher's book.

“Two Wrongs Make a Right" by Chloe Liese is a compelling romance novel that earns a solid four-star rating from me. Liese skillfully tackles important themes of autism and anxiety, presenting a thoughtful and authentic portrayal. The way the author delves into these subjects demonstrates a commendable understanding and empathy, providing readers with a genuine and relatable representation.

Another noteworthy aspect of the book is Liese's inclusion and representation of the LGBT community. By featuring diverse and well-rounded characters, Liese creates a story that embraces and celebrates different sexual orientations. This representation is an essential element that adds depth and inclusivity to the narrative.

The novel employs the popular trope of fake dating, adding a delightful layer of tension and excitement to the romantic storyline. This trope is executed with finesse, allowing for both heartwarming moments and unexpected twists. Additionally, readers should be aware that the book includes open-door sex scenes, which contribute to the intimacy and emotional connection between the characters.

As a first-time reader of the romance genre, I found "Two Wrongs Make a Right" to be an enjoyable and accessible entry point. Liese's writing style is engaging and immersive, drawing me into the story from the very beginning. This book combines an exploration of important themes with a satisfying romance, providing a well-rounded and captivating reading experience.

Delightful!!! I couldn't put this gem down — the characters were unique and lovable, the plot compulsive, and I was captivated by their relationship. I can't wait for more from Chloe Liese!

This is really an adorable and cute book. I especially appreciated the neurodiverse characters, and how well the author wove their lived experiences into the story. Would have been 5 stars, but a) the revenge storyline wasn’t as well structured as the romance and b) one character has a serious relationship issue that is dealt with almost as an aside in the story. Overall though, would definitely recommend.
