Another Chloe Liese hit for me. I really appreciate that there was never a reveal to the rest of the characters and that feelings were on the table by the halfway point. The dialogue did get a little overly flowery especially towards the end.

I absolutely loved everything about this book. The meet cute was great and I loved the texts, dates, banter, and conversations between Jamie and Bea were so well written. Plus I loved them as individuals and as a couple. I don't know how Liese does it but she writes the most realistic characters. I loved that both were neurodivergent and how they were continuously there for each other in times of need big and small.

Fake dating usually isn't a trope I enjoy, but this was so well done and I loved it. Everything evolved so naturally and I loved watching their relationship grow. It felt very real.

I also loved the side characters and can't wait for the rest of this series.

I've gotta hand it to Chloe Liese, it takes guts to write a Much Ado About Nothing retelling without actually putting any Much Ado About Nothing in it. That is very much a bold creative decision. One worthy of respect? Who's to say, but it's bold nonetheless.
