I did not expect that from this book. It has one of my all time favourite tropes, hockey, single parent and best friends brother. The epilogue made me tear up, blame it on the monthly visitor. I loved reading about Reed learning how to take care of a child while falling in love with Holland. Also where can I find hockey guys like Reed and Liam?! I love this series already so much and can’t wait to read the next one.

Reed Davidson is a NHL player who ends up taking in his deceased half sister’s son, Evan, so he doesn’t go into foster care.
Reed ends up hiring his little sister’s best friend, Holland, to come on the road during game season so she can watch Evan while he plays hockey.
They decide to enter in a FWB agreement, but Holland has been in love with Reed since childhood. Plus, Reed is her best friend’s brother, someone she made promised that she would never cross any lines with.
But they totally cross the line & they are so great together

He is helped by Holland who is his sister's best friend, who becomes Evan's nanny. Holland always had a crush on Reed, but until that moment he hadn't noticed her that way until then. Forced to spend a lot of time together complicates things, which lead to setting rules that will be later, of course, broken. Neither can deny the tension between them, but the arrangement of being friends with benefits complicates things even more.
