It was OK...

This book was a bit too rushed for my taste. It's like the details of their relationship were glossed over and not given the proper amount of time to really gel in my imagination. It was more brothers' best friend than single father trope, which was fine with me, but it wasn't as angsty as I prefer.

Little kids and their daddies always win it for me. Not much sports for a sports book. Not that I care about the actual sport it just felt lacking.

I wish I would've read the Newspaper Nanny before this one but I still really enjoyed it! Super cute and steamy. I loved the storyline and all the characters were super charming!

Something to fill my time today very fast read and quick moving - good author for killing time but nothing to write home about 3.75 stars

I had the pleasure of reading this wonderful book early. So I’ll start by saying I’m really picky when it comes to my romcoms, and when I say this exceeded my expectations I mean it. This was seriously such a fun and swoon worthy book!

Reed and Holland were amazing together. I’m a sucker for children in books and seeing Reed step up with Evan, and take in his nephew made me love Reed that much more. Holland also steps up and supports Reed and Evan, she is the missing piece to their blended unconventional family. But she fits so well.

This story, was way more steamy then I expected for a romcom and I was totally here for it. Reed and Evan had me laughing, Reed and Holland had be swooning. I was smiling through this story.

This is defiantly a perfect pick me up book. I recommend this whole heartedly. And cannot wait to read more of the books Maren Moore puts out,

This could have been soooo much better! It’s definitely a romance centered book. I wish there would have been more bonding time with Reed and Evan but it was just kinda thrown in there and then BAM banging the babysitter. It’s fast paced. I didn’t hate it. Just could have been much better. I went in blind. Other than single dad in the title on Amazon, I didn’t know what I was jumping into other than hockey romance

I love Maren she always writes the best stories but this wasn’t for me. I loved the premises of the plot and the single dad. My heart broke for Reed in the beginning and how he got his nephew Evan. However, at times I couldn’t connect to him. I loved when he met Holland and their pact and how fast the relationship moved. It made the story go fast. But I felt like I was missing pieces throughout the book. Going to continue the series because I see it’s kind of goes with her baseball series!

I am always down for an insta love story and add some hockey in the mix HELL YA!!!
