A decent entry, if not as amazing as previous ones, but much better than the last one.

Lots of stuff going on here, what with space wars and time travel and psychic gorillas and whatnot. Lobo as a Green Lantern. Yeah, you read that right. Which is what’s so great about these alt-universe stories: they can kill main characters (boy, do they!) and they can mess with canon. It’s a hoot.

** Review for the entire series **

Injustice 2 starts with Superman and most of his allies incarcerated for their crimes, Batman trying to piece back the world together, and Ra's Al Ghul trying to 'save' the world his way. We also get Black Adam, teaming up with Supergirl and Damian, trying to defend his country.

Injustice 2 starts steadily, kicks things up to breakneck pace, and then tries to wrap everything up in a nice little bowtie. Unfortunately, the ending soured the series a bit for me. However, there are certainly some extremely brilliant moments scattered throughout the series (as was the case with Injustice 1). We get to see some characters going back to their canonical selves, some getting corrupted further, and Batman finally getting called out for some of the insane things he did during Injustice 1.

Overall, I would still rate the series 3.5/5. Could have been a 4 but for the ending.

Hmmm. I don't remember much of this getting resolved in the game, but hopefully there's more comics in the future
