I am listening to these due to my absolute obsession with the Netflix show when it first came out! Am loving the DC tie-in! But why so miniscule??? Really enjoyed this version and am liking that I don't have to wait on Netflix to finish out the story! Here's to jumping into the next one!!

The Sandman Act I was my first audiobook and I really enjoyed it. I loved that it was a full cast as this helped me feel engrossed in the story. I loved Neil Gaiman’s narration as well, he has a great voice for it! There were a few storylines but the main was revolved around Morpheus getting his items of power back after they were taken from him when he was imprisoned. I loved the mix of stories and most of the characters. Some of it was a bit gory for 7am as I listened whilst driving to work but overall I loved this.

/sorrynotsorry a rant

So I liked Gaiman's stuff well enough so far but this ... what the hell is this even supposed be?! It kind of felt like your liberal grandpa gone edgelord or something. Seriously, what is it with all the contextless trivia dropping? Nice for him that he knows a thing exists, but if he knew anything more substantial about it than what one can get from an encyclopedia article, maybe he could have done something interesting with it. Also, granted I don't read a lot of horror because I'm a wuss, so maybe I am not an expert, but I am pretty sure annoyance and eye rolls where not the reaction the scary bits were supposed to get. Especially not from a wuss.
