This one hurt to read in the best way. While the unwanted wife will always be a re read for me this one hurt in a completely different way. I was hurt by Bryce鈥檚 actions almost throughout the whole book. He treated Bronwyn so horribly. Pushing his own insecurities onto her to the point of delusion because he thought so lowly of himself.
Bronwyn was so strong at every step. Her unwillingness to be treated so unfairly made her so like able for me. I enjoyed watching her growth and also her compassion. The strength needed for that level of understanding was phenomenal to read.

A husband's Regret is a swoony second chance romance. Bryce is doing her best in a romantic way to win his wife back. What trhowed me off is the plot. I understand Miss Anders is trying to make all the OTT drama so her reader hate Bryce. The swoon the said reader into a groveling act.
If only the plot is believable, the book would be great.
The writing is good as usual. It has been a while since I picked up Miss Anders's book. The banter is good. The charaters are lovely. It is just missing the plot.

I was having pretty high expectations from this book since the first book in the series was good. This one was quite the opposite of the expectations I had.
One thing I liked about the book was we were directly thrown into the situation. I mean to say that the actual problem arose in the first chapter, the author didn't spend the first few chapters talking about the mundane and difficult life of fmc. No unnecessary dragging of the story at the start.
The book has a problem with pacing, I believe. We find out the reasonings for Bryce's reaction at the 80% mark and throughout the story he is neglecting this issue. I know he was scared to see Bronwyn's reaction/decision which was kind of stupid. Like a man did an inhumane thing to his pregnant wife and expected her to be still with him.
I like how Bronwyn pointed out that Bryce expects her to get back with him with no proper apology or explanation. She did give him shit but since the author crafted the fmc as a kind-hearted person, she would end up feeling guilty about it. And that would rile me up.
The lack of apology and groveling was frustrating. He did her so so wrong. no amount of groveling and apology would have fixed that. It felt like he was stubborn to admit his huge mistake even after realizing it. And the author made certain of the story from Bryce's pov, I guess it was to gain readers' sympathy but for me, the author failed at it. Throughout the book I didn't feel sorry for Bryce, he deserved all the shit he was getting.
Also, the couple felt odd. You know how angsty second chances are, there was barely any tension between them. The book contains a dual timeline however the past chapters were more focused on the night of the pregnancy announcement meaning we don't get to see the love progression between Bryce and Bronwyn.
Overall, I didn't enjoy the book as I thought I was going to and was disappointed.

I don't care what anyone says I'll always love this book. The definition of Grovel she made beg so much that he thought he had lost her for good and I was here for it. I've read this book like 10times and trust I'll be releasing it in the future cause its amazing. I mean marriage in crisis, second chance romance!!! Throw in the child (Mikayla such an adorable girl馃グ馃グ)
I enjoyed this book. In the beginning, I absolutely hated Bryce and thought that there was no way he would end up being a likeable character but I was wrong. I ended up really liking him and had sympathy for him. I really like this authors writing and can't wait to read more!
