Just not for me. I really wanted to like it because I liked the first book but this just wasn't it for me. It took me forever to finish, and I really only finished it because I hate not finishing books I've started.

I didn't like the Male MC and how he blamed everyone else but himself for his shortcomings. If you're looking for a book that involves misunderstanding and grovelling, then maybe give this one a go. But it just wasn't my cup of tea.

Just as The Unwanted Wife, A Husband's Regret got me in my feels. I cried again. I think Natasha Anders has that power now.

Bronwyn and Bryce's marriage is not perfect. After a misunderstanding with her pregnancy, they're forced apart to be reunited again two years later. Even then their relationship is not perfect. There are bumps on the road that may never be gone completely. A lot of things have changed between these two - whether it's personality, how they see the world or physically. Now after so much time apart, they must learn to reconnect with what they had and what exists now.

I enjoyed the unwanted wife but this one was not it for me. The characters got on my nerves. I felt like the fmc was too soft especially after everything her husband put her through.
& the husband just kept getting me mad like how can you treat her like that.

The beginning was good had me hooked but when I got to the middle I almost wanted to DNF it.

It was good but it took me so long to finish. Like yes I get that there has to be a mental battle of her wanting him but then remembering that he hurt her. If it was me, I would take him back but to each their own.

4.25 stars. UGH what a good follow up to the Unwanted Wife. More angsty grovel. I hated Bryce for so much of this book, but was still rooting for Bronwyn to have her HEA so I was glad when he started to grovel hard.
dark emotional sad tense fast-paced
Plot or Character Driven: A mix
Strong character development: Yes
Loveable characters: No
Diverse cast of characters: Yes

I can’t remember why I gave this book 5 stars. I remember liking the angst, but being frustrated with the MC’s. When I re-read I doubt it will be 5 stars again. TBD.
