SO much better than the previous one. Good amount of grovel and no cheating.
Bryce and Bronwyn...I loved them both, but then they both annoyed me BUT in a good way. If that makes any sense at all. Bryce acts a fool when Bronwyn announces her pregnancy and instead of communicating WHY he is feeling the way he is, he tells Bronwyn to leave. THEN he goes after her when he hears her driving off, gets in an accident, loses his hearing and blames her for it all. UGH MEN. LOL JK (not kidding)
Natasha has a great way of writing groveling heroes and I am here for it. She also has a way of writing women who don't just accept one sorry ass apology for YEARS of disrespect. With that being said, I really enjoyed this book.
I loved the groveling and loved how strong the heroine was EVEN in her weak moments.

fast-paced
This could have been resolved a third of the way into the book. It dragged on too long.
I've listened to this 3x and it always makes me cry every time. Same with The Unwanted Wife.
The first book of the year and it was ok. I liked his groveling at the end.
The book was full of misunderstanding and mistrust. Both of the main characters needed to grow up and they did. I pitied the hero. The past event of his life and the way he suffered after the accident was sad. He lost one of his senses which obviously created a lot of differences in a person life. But that doesn't mean he can't be a first class jerk. After all, because of him & his jerk move, everything happened. Both of the characters suffered only because of him. But whatever he did, he got his suffering and his groveling makes things a little bit easier for me.
I liked the character development of the main characters. It was my second book of the author and judging by the two books I read of her she likes the character development trait and I liked the way she did it.
The toddler continuous presence in the book was really refreshing. And most importantly I liked the author writing. Overall it was not great but it was ok.

This was completely horrible...like seriously ridiculously stupid horrible
Bronwyn tells her husband she’s pregnant. He screams get out, she leaves. He realizes he’s a douchewaffle and goes after her. Now here’s where things get stupid...Bronwyn goes to the beach house to wait for her douchewaffle husband but he never shows up. She leaves, pregnant and broke. Struggles through a pregnancy with no money and almost dies and 2 years later... 2 years the husband finds her......
I have so many questions...
1. Bryce the husband owns a private security agency but can’t track down his own wife???? She didn’t go into a witness protection plan
2. Your husband who you are still legally married to and you are carrying his child is wealthy yet you rather die than use his money???
3. WHY ARE YOU BOTH SO DUMB BRYCE AND BRONWYN???
4. WHY WAS THIS BOOK SO HORRIBLE?
5. WHY DID I KEEP READING THIS??

I really enjoyed this one! Bryce was a complete douche bag in his reaction to HIS and Bronwyn’s pregnancy. Complete asshole. But... he’s totally a redeemable asshole. There were times I wanted him to try harder, but I think that has to do with the amount of kidnap-her-possessive men I read in dark romance, so I’ll give Bryce a pass.

Literally all of this emotional bull crap could be solved if the main characters took the time to have a real conversation instead of the emotionally stunted push and pull.
I liked it just enough to finish it.
