during the time that this book came out i had a couple of things spoiled to me, but reading it was a completely different experience. jennette went through so much i genuinely don’t understand how she made it through it all. as someone who struggles with the same disorders she has, reading her narration of how she felt made me feel less ridiculous for having the same thoughts. i grew up watching icarly, and sam & cat. she was always my favorite character, but now it hurts knowing that while she was putting a smile on everyone’s faces at home watching those shows, the only smile she ever wore was during set shooting a scene.

This was honestly tough to get through, but I'm glad I did.

A great reminder that you never know what someone is going through. A very candid story of her life.
