This book was such a fascinating idea. And I really found it interesting. However the sexual content got to be way too much. At first I thought I could just skip over the scenes - they weren't necessary to the plot - but they continued and got so bad I couldn't continue. Very disappointing, considering this could have been such a good book....

My father was a carpenter and took pride in his workmanship. He would also sit and draw up plans for our own home and took great delight and a certain amount of pride in his work. I can see a little of him in the pages. I enjoyed this book on several levels, the historical story, the intrigue and the cast of characters including the ones you love to hate.

An amazing story about a man that changed so many people's lives. I loved the way this book was written and made me want to read an any free moment. If you're into history, I highly recommend this book!

Criminal that this wasn’t more widely read. I see Spielberg directing and Adrien Brody starring.

Simple but great story about a French architect creating designs to hide Jewish people during the German occupation. Really enjoyed the main character and a few of the side characters as well. Easy read.
