Death, murder, self harm, abuse, kidnapping, drugs

Nix is a seventeen year old Nobody. He can make himself translucent and "disappear", which makes him the perfect person to become the Society's assassin. He's been trained for this job his whole life and knows nothing more then killing Nulls, empty, cruel, self absorbed people. Only after being sent to kill Claire does Nix start to question and think about everything he's ever been taught.
I found the concept and start of this book interesting but then it went down hill from there. It lost it's hold on me quick and became a chore to finish. It was too long and drawn out at most parts with way too much filler. Some parts seem to go on and on with very little being added to the overall  plot/story.
I also didn't like the "insta love" aspect of it. Idk about you but if I happened to look out my window and was staring down the barrel of a gun I wouldn't be obsessed with, falling head-over-heels in love with, and making out with said gun holder.
