Oh boy did this book give me everything!
I loved the way this story went from arranged marriage to a stranger to a love story. I have seen people's reviews saying that there was no plot but to me getting to know the main characters and watching them grow feels like a a plot to me. A plot doesn't just have to be about a villain now does it?
I really loved all the trouble this girl could get into and all the obsession this man can throw around. Dark Romance Mafia at its finest! Looking forward to see what they get up to in book 2 :)

The writing was fine, but it didn’t feel like a lot happened in the story besides the emotional development between Alejandro and Alana. I’m all for building the characters, but I prefer more to be happening. The plot started to get good near the end and by then I was too annoyed to read the next book to find out what happens.

I like Alejandro and his slips into Spanish really messed me up haha but overall it was more a fxckfest then i usually enjoy for no real reason. Im aware what im reading is for the dark spice and thats great but theres a balance and i think this one went over the edge for me a little too often.
