There was just something so lacklustre about this. I think the story needed a little more depth than crime lord x politicians daughter who, surprise isn't actually the Manhattan party girl you expected her to be.

Ok so here’s the thing. This couple fucks. A Lot. To me it was really repetitive, I mean it was ok it was just a lot. I just wanted at least a little more plot. And the fmc’s name. Ok this may be a personal preference but I just can’t read a book where a main character’s name has the same name as someone I know cause then I’ll imagine them as that character and it just gets weird. And idk to me the fmc was giving very much “pick me cause I’m not like other girls” vibes and I just wasn’t here for it. I might continue it cause I wanna get to book 3 but I’m not 100% sure.

I kinda hated this, but it was a fast read. The male lead tipped over into straight toxic for me, as opposed to fun-lol-unhinged-toxic. Nothing much happens.

Didn’t like the male main character
Pretty much nothing happened. But the smut was nice tho. Probably won't read the second book because I sadly don't care enough about the minuscule drop of plot that was slightly added.

Alejandro is the King of LA, head of the mafia, and is about to marry Alana against her will (she's only doing this as a "business decision" that will save her father).
I can't say much as I don't wanna spoil how everything unfolds, but you need to read this book !

Didn’t like it quite much, I thought the same thing repeated over and over. Yes, there was some scenes and parts of the story I did enjoy but overall I didn’t enjoy it as much as I thought.
