I loved this one from Sadie! It has all the good tropes…arranged marriage, mafia, touch her and die, billionaire. Ending in a cliffhanger so now I need to start the next one!

I really didn't want to DNF this book - because I love the author's other works - but alas, it was not meant to be.
It felt like a flurry of activity with no real emotional thread or conversations that were tying the plot together. The main characters felt flat and I was not convinced on half the things that happened. I know there's some degree of fantasy involved but this one was pushing the boundaries.
In short, it felt like it was the output of an early stage ChatGPT with some key, stereotypical prompts.

Would’ve gone a little higher but the MMC kept referring to the FMC’s ejaculate as “cream” and that was a big ick for me.
