I really enjoyed this book. It's not too long, which means it's long enough to get involved in the story but not long enough to feel like it's dragged out. It's standalone, and very easy to read. Initially, Hailey & Joshua seem to be complete opposites. Joshua is corporate while Hailey is a palm reader. As their friendship progresses, though, it becomes obvious that the underlying core of each is very similar to the other. This book was a bit of a slow burn. First client, then friendship then more. There wasn't much I didn't like about this book. If I had to criticise anything, it's that sometimes a bit too much detail can be taken with things that don't add to the story.
