3.75 stars for “Unauthorized Access”, rounded down because from what I can gather the rest of the magazine is a bit meh. I only read the one story “Unauthorized Access” by An Owomoyela, which I quite enjoyed. The MC is a hacker on the days they are released from prison for illegal hacking. There’s not a whole lot to say about this story. It only takes about an hour to read. I chose it to nominate for the Amazing Eights diversity challenge for March. My card stipulated a work by a person of color with neurodiverse characters. The author themself is a Black, non-binary (neutrois), neurodiverse person.
