Not my cup of tea. Expected something else, instead got obnoxious observations.

It’s hilarious to me that so many people reviewing this book don’t know it’s satire. Do a cursory google and you’d figure that out. It’s like reading Jonathan Swift and thinking he’s actually advocating for cannibalism in “A Modest Proposal.”
Thomas Nashe was exiled and nearly imprisoned and executed for works of satire like this pamphlet. He is very clearly critiquing the puritanical temptation to attribute all of life’s hardships to witches and devils. Anyways, 8/10 recommend if you enjoy 16th century satire.

This is the first of these little black classics I have not finished. It was just so medieval in its content and religious themes. I know it was written by an Elizabethan writer but unlike most of these old writers I can't help feel he just doesn't stack up to scrutiny by anyone with more than Christianity on their mind. Might be of interest to anyone studying the thinking of people of the time but I'll take shakespear over this any day of the week

The Penguin little black classics just keep on disappointing. This just should not be re-published, it's boring, it's pointless, it's just an old rant against witches and the devil and the evil that should stay forgotten.
