I really loved this. Such a great bar scene when she's drowning her sorrows, it's a perfect setup for an uncomfortable first day at work! I loved that she does everything right except for keeping secrets as his mother begged her to. This was heartbreaking and moving, and I definitely am planning to find the next book in the series!

Nic deserves sm better from the people in here life prior to meeting the Jackson family bc dear god does her bio mom and sister need a big ass punch to the face to gain any type of sympathy from me and any other sane person. And as much as I liked the fmc she needed to grow a backbone bc there is not a chance in hell that I would’ve accepted my sister back into my life after the treacherous backstabbing shit she pulled. To find out in front of everyone that my twin sister is pregnant with my fiancés child AT THE ALTER⁉️ I would’ve had to air the place out bc ain’t no fucking way. Then to have her go on MY honeymoon with my now ex fiancé yet the fmc still felt like she should reach out and apologize for something after that audacious phone call from her mother on her birthday?? If I were her friend trust that I’d knock some sense into her bc that shit would not slide with me especially once her sister came back and didn’t even grovel or pretend to be sorry and take responsibility for her actions🤮 pregnant or not I would’ve had that whack ass bitch on her knees begging for my forgiveness (sorry for the cussing but Veronica genuinely had me heated while reading this book😭) REGARDLESS of the horror that is her bio family, Ethan and Lilly were exactly who Nic needed at this time though the only thing I find unbelievable about their romance is how quickly it happened bc wdym they fell in love and went through all this within a month? 🤨

The Wrong Kind of Love is the right kind of story. Lame pun but the story makes up for it. Jackson Harbor makes up for it. And if for some reason that wasn't enough, I have 5 Jackson men that will entertain, flirt, and seduce you. Not to mention a family that steals your heart!

The Wrong Kind of Love reels you in with an unforgettable blurb. I mean seriously, her sister pukes on her bouquet and mentions the baby daddy is the groom. That is some world class assholery right there from her very own twin. Unforgettable. Mind bogglingly unforgettable. Also the perfect reason to run away...to Jackson Harbor.

I can't wait to watch these testosterone laden hotties crumble one by one. Jackson Harbor is the perfect setting. The Jacksons are the perfect characters. I just need the rest of their stories.

I keep going back and forth between 3.5 and 4 stars. I really enjoyed the plot and characters, but I do feel like some of the more *ahem* intimate scenes ended up taking away from the plot,. It put significantly more emphasis on the physical aspect of Nic and Ethan’s relationship, when I personally felt like the most genuine aspects of the plot and relationship development came from the characters emotional growth. Overall, I really enjoyed this book, and was really impressed with how difficult subjects were handled while still keeping a lighthearted tone overall. I would definitely recommend this book, especially if you’re looking for a quick, sweet romance!

I Loved this Book!!! I fell into this hard! I was hooked from the being and read it one day. I just couldn't Stop, it was so addicting. This was my first book by this author and I can't wait to read more from her. The characters are so wonderful, I love every single one and I'm so excited this is a series! This book really has it all, so much drama and betrayal, lots secrets, laugh out loud humor, scorching hot passion, it's full of pain and anguish, and so much more. It's an amazing love story. Nicole has so much going on, first she suffers a double betrayal finding out her soon to be husband and her identical twin have been having an affair and her sister is pregnant with his baby, on her wedding day. She decides to run away to get out of dodge and meets Ethan. Ethan is everything I need in a book boyfriend. He was so Perfect! Nicole and Ethan meet in a bar and I think they recognized each others pain. Ethan, poor Ethan he has suffered so much pain and he carries it around with him everyday. These two characters get brought together to live under the same roof and thats where everything starts to unravel and heat up. Nicole fights to hide her secrets and Ethan fights his past and his growing feelings. This is a bittersweet love story, It will suck you in and make you feel. The author knows how to keep you in suspense. I also loved how the author can make us hate a character and then warm up to her in the end. I can't wait to read the next book in this series. I'm excited to see what the other Jackson boys get themselves into, and also Nicole's girls! I highly recommend this book! Read it you will Love it!

This was soooo good!

First time reader of this author, and daaaannngggg! Lexi Ryan knows how to bring the feels! I can relate so hard to Nic and wearing happiness as a mask. She was so down to earth and genuine that I just felt for her the whole time.

Ethan is a beautifully broken, doctor and widower. He has his own demons to face and Ryan sets him up, layer by layer. I enjoyed learning each new piece of him and his past.

The Jackson clan are everything I love in ensemble casts! And why I'm totally gonna binge this entire series. What a great intro book though! You get snips of each brother and Shay, but more of the brother who stars in the next book.

Excellent pacing, rich characters, and a unique plot.
