I was super excited to see that Hayden’s friend, Leo, got his own book and I really liked him as a character. He’s a romantic and so upbeat & happy – well, most of the time. He’s really struggling to find his person, which is one of the reasons he moved to Christmas Falls. Nick also really loves how Leo finds the good in just about everything, even facing his bad dates with humor.
Nick on the other hand is a bit more sedate and while he loves love, after the death of his wife he is settling for finding everyone else The One. And then Leo bursts into his life. I liked that while Leo may have had a crush on Nick pretty much right away that it took Nick a little longer. He might be clueless and need a little help (and screws up a bit) he does get there but that made it more realistic for me. I also appreciated that Vaughn made him bisexual as opposed to a bi-awakening. Not that I don’t love those too, but here the growth is Nick letting go of his past relationship and moving into a new one.
12 Dates is sweet, with a few moments of spice. A slow burn burn with warmth, humor (I actually laughed out loud listening to it), and lots of holiday cheer. And just like with Scrooge You, James Edward Jones has a great voice to be reading such a feel good holiday treat.
**I voluntarily read and reviewed a complimentary copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.**

I loved this one! @brighamvaughn just has a style I love and watching Leo and Nick fall for each other was so cute! Thank you for this ARC!Nick was supposed to be finding Leo’s perfect match but it turned out the matchmaker was falling for him. From funny and awful dates to some true creeps, they found each other.
Reasons I Recommend:
1) So cute and fluffy with first times and second chances
2) Fun and sweet in the cutest Christmas town and
3) I love that Leo wasn’t afraid to tell Nick that he hurt him.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Quote: “I’m an old, widowed guy?”
Leo snorted. “You’re thirty-eight. You’re hardly an octogenarian. And it’s not your fault you’re widowed.” (This made me snort out loud)

Sweet, fun, second chance, Christmas story. I loved it, laughed out loud several time, very entertaining and couldn't put it down.
Leo is a very sweet, romantic, young man, who is looking for his HEA and who after cumulating bad dates in Chicago decides to move to Christmas falls to find love. Nick is from Christmas fall, a widower, who decided as a tribute to his late wife to start a matchmaking company. Leo developes Nick's matchmaking company website, the first meeting are virtual but when they met in person both feel sparks, but Leo does not act on it as he thinks Nick is straight and Nick is bi, but he does not feel ready to start dating again. So Leo suscribes to the matchmaking company and Nick tries to match Leo with other men, but all dates go terribly wrong....
Both characters are very sweet, even if at some point I felt Leo did not deserve Nick, but Nick redeemed himself. Their chemistry in and out of bed is very high. In summary, I enjoyed very much the book.
I received an ARC of this book from Neon Rainbow, and this is my honest review

This story was fun and quirky. I really enjoyed Leo's love for that romance movie love story. Nick was a hopeless sweetie that had a wonderful second chance at love. The disaster dates , friendship and of course love make this such a fun and great story to read. Perfect Christmas read.

12 Dates of Christmas is Brigham Vaughn's contribution to the Christmas Falls: Season 2 multi-author collaboration. Note that although this series is a spin-off of the Christmas Falls multi-author series, every single book in each series can be read as a complete standalone. Here's what you can expect from Leo and Nick:
🎄 MM holiday-themed romance
🎄 Third person dual point of view
🎄 Guaranteed happily ever after
🎄 Matchmaker finding love after loss
🎄 Bisexual representation
🎄 Unlucky in love web developer
🎄 Small town Christmas
🎄 Age gap
As always, please take care of yourself while reading. This book contains discussions of the past death of a spouse and grief.
As with the other Christmas Falls books, this was a lovely, easy holiday read! If you read Vaughn's Scrooge You! last season, you might remember Hayden's friend Leo. He gets his own happily ever after! He wants it so bad, you can't help but root for him. The other main character, Nick, has a slightly more complicated series. After losing his wife a few years prior, he wants to keep her legacy alive by opening a matchmaking service in the small town of Christmas Falls. Love after loss can be a very difficult thing to write about and I think some readers enjoy it while others don't. I thought Vaughn did an incredible job here. Nick's love for his wife shone through the book in a way that honoured her memory and gave him room to love again. Although it made falling fully for Leo challenging, I like the way it was addressed.
Overall, Nick and Leo were just so sweet. There was a good dose of humour (and at times, horror) as Leo went on a series of failed dates. I think it was a great balance to the heaviness of Nick finding love after loss. This was another lovely holiday themed read, and was still fairly low angst given the heavy subject matter. Definitely recommend when you're in the mood for a holiday themed romance in a Hallmark Christmas movie worthy small town!

Rating: 3.7 ⭐
- Matchmaker/Web Developer
- Age Gap (13yrs)
- Small Town Romance
- Christmas Town
- Second Chance (Widower)
- Unexpected Love
- Some Date Disasters
This was a sweet Christmas read about a widower getting a second chance at love and a man new to town finally finding his person.
Nick offers his matchmaking services to Leo as a thank you for helping with his company's website. Leo is instantly smitten with Nick but he believes the man is straight since he was married to a woman and still grieving her. Leo has some crazy horrible and some mediocre dates throughout this book, all while pining for Nick. Nick has always been Bi, but he fell in love with his late wife early on and had only ever been with her. Nick is attracted to Leo, but doesn't really think about how much he wants the man until he's presented with the possibility of losing his chance.
Content Warnings (may contain spoilers):
- Graphic sexual content between consenting adults
- Discussion of a past death of a spouse and grief

Nick & Leo
A very cute new Christmas Falls connection from Brigham Vaughn. I love the way she writes the awkwardness and intricacies of her characters. Nick & Leo are both incredibly loveable MCs and it's clear from their first meeting how good they are together. Even though their relationship begins in a professional manner, their quick friendship easily leads them into discovering their evolving feelings.
Nick has such an emotional past, but he's such a good guy and he deserved his new HEA with Leo. Leo is in a new place in his life where he really wants to find the love of his life, and thought Christmas Falls had the best reputation & location for him to find it. He wasn't wrong! ❤️
I loved every moment of 12 Dates of Christmas, and I can't wait for a reread once the entire season two series in Christmas Falls is complete! ❤️
