This was a cute one. Trying to match him with someone else but falling for him yourself is a fun variation.

This was an excellent Christmas Falls story!

Leo and Nick were a lot of fun to read about. I felt Leo’s worries about no one wanting him, and Nick trying so hard to come to terms with not just moving on as a widower but moving on with a man. What I did like, is that even though Nick already knew he was bisexual, because he met his wife so young he never had the chance to explore that side of himself so it felt like a biawakening a little. Nick’s emotional journey on choosing to love someone new after loss isn’t too angsty at all (this is a happy Christmas story after all) but it did feel realistic. The absolutely terrible dates poor Leo went on were hilarious, that poor man! This was a gem in season 2 of Christmas Falls.

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

I adored this book! It’s a little heavier of a Christmas book but it’s written with such care. Nick’s love for his deceased wife is never forgotten and his love for Leo truly shines. Leo also is a complete sweetheart so him getting his HEA with Nick was lovely. His failed dates were also entertaining.

This was an easy and cozy read with just a bit of angst. Not much of a plot or anything, mostly just vibes.

Widower Nick is a matchmaker, but he’s falling down on the job when it comes to finding Leo a match. And he really isn’t unconsciously sabotaging it because he has the hots for the younger man.

I love a good second chance story, and the dates gone awry were a lot of fun. Seriously, I’m never looking at a man in an elf costume the same way.

I really liked Nick. He was warm and lovely, and it’s not surprising there are some starts and stops to his dating for the first time since his wife died.

Leo was good, but I never fell in love with him.  He was a little too over-dramatic and it kinda of felt like it was always about him.

I really loved getting to see Joel and Hayden again, I adored their story from the first season, and they are still cute AF.

A match made in heaven! Or at least in Christmas Falls! Nick is a professional matchmaker, dedicating his new profession to his late wife, Nicole, a romance author. He hasn't moved on from her yet, instead focusing on matching up new couples. His website needs a lot of work so he hires Leo, a web developer who just moved to town looking for love. He's immediately attracted to Nick, but figures he's straight since he was married to a woman. As a bonus for making the website awesome, Nick decides to try to find Leo the perfect match.

Talk about date disasters! Leo has some awful luck when it comes to dating, despite Nick setting him up. It turns out Nick is bi, but few people know it because he was with Nicole since they were teenagers. Eventually, the pull between them is impossible to ignore, but that doesn't make it easy!

🔥: Plenty steamy! These two are sweet and hot together with quick to medium-paced scenes and graphic details. Plus, so much longing!
😆: We get some giggles along the way, mostly thanks to the epic date fails. Oof!
😭: There are definitely some heavy emotions in this one since Nick is still grieving and doesn't think he's ready to move on, but I think your tissues are safe!

Another Christmas Falls classic! Leo and Nick are so sweet together and once they're all in, there's nothing stopping them!

CW: grief from losing a spouse

Another great Christmas Falls addition. There is quite a lot in the story to unpack but it's done great and with humour and lots of love. Nick is trying to move forward, he just hasn't thought that his move may include a male webdeveloper who is looking for love. Leo is fed up with city life and wants what his best friend Hayden has, a partner, a life he enjoys and love in the future. Both are attracted but both are also not sure if they can make this work together. Nick could sometimes come over as a bit of a back-and-forth guy and hurt Leo but it's still a very low angst book. He definitely made up for it and brought the romance Leo is so desperate for to him. There is as usual with Christmas Falls lots of funny side characters, a Secret Santa who I really want to know more about and a HEA which is showing that this series really is a Hallmark movie in a book.
