Sigh.
What is with these books that have these surprise situations that are not really a surprise and don’t really add to the story. I really have to stop following BookTok

couldn't finish. super boring and cliche and not realistic.
Tobias and Meyer were incredible main characters! I adored both of them as individuals. I lived for them in the scenes they shared together and I wanted nothing more than for these opposites to make it work and build on their chemistry. This book was so full of ups and downs from the very start. I love a nerd/athlete romance story and this one had all of the key elements of a good HEA! Even though Tobias was a smug, entitled, playboy on campus, something about him I just connected to and wanted to see him make a 180 and become the good guy.
I haven't loathed a character in a recent romance book as much as I did Coach. From the first scenes he appeared in, I was rubbed the wrong way! I just knew in my gut something about him wasn't going to make me happy. He was so darn egotistical and cold.
I really enjoyed this read, despite the fact that I struggled to understand/justify some of the actions and decisions by Meyer that took place outside of this book's timeline. I scratched my head at how much her character changed from past to present. But I guess motherhood can do that to you. PS: The single parent trope of this story isn't a spoiler as it is revealed in the first few chapters of the story.

curveballs are correct
Holy cow. If I thought I could predict that happened next… I was shockingly mistaken. The title tells you everything you need to know. It’s full of curveballs that leave you questioning EVERYTHING. It’s told mainly from his pov, which makes it that much better. The sexual tension built up so much I thought I would explode. I absolutely love every book this author writes!!

Oh my goodness this was so good!
I went into this college romance knowing almost nothing about the book, just that my friend Melissa was hyping it up big time. So since a friend recommended it, I had to give it a read. So glad I did.
Baseball player + single mom = yes please!
OH and that whole thing with Coach Reid? WHAT!?! Yeah, didn't quite see that coming.
