I cried all the tears! This one hit me right in the heart over and over. I don't even like baseball but fell in love with these characters right from the start. Broken boy with big hearts are my weakness. The story pulls you in from page one and doesn't let go.

Thoughts: Honestly shocked that I liked this book so much!! So much angst and heartbreak and just passion I felt from these two people, individually and together as a couple. I am so happy to have gotten this in the BWB box this month!
4.75 Stars For sure this was one of my most anticipated releases of the year, simply because of the author name on the cover. And if you've ever read anything by this wonder, then you know you rarely ever get what you think you're getting from them and I LOVE that. This gave me so many emotions and swoonworthy moments, I'm not sure which way is up right now. On the surface you might think that the cocky jock who needs a tutor schtick is overdone, but not the way Ms. Brandy does it. I wasn't prepared by a long shot to be put through the ringer the way I was and it might have shot right to the top of my favourite books by this author. No lie. I volunteered to read an early copy of this. All opinions are my own.
