I loved reading works from so many different activists. The varying styles of writing (interviews, poems, playlists, etc), made it feel personal as well. I constantly think of some of the interviews that were in this book and how many of the activists overcame so much to be the powerful influences they are today.

It's a collection of essays, some long, some not (some are literally like 1 sentence) on how different people fight white supremacy. It's good, and it shows there's something everyone can do in their own way, in their own life, to help. Some were very religious, most were not.

Essays, poems, interviews, playlists and more combine to answer the question of fighting white supremacy. I really enjoyed this and loved hearing from such a diverse array of Black thinkers and activists.

A thoughtful and hard-hitting collection of pieces from some of the most prominent activists of our time including Ta-Nehisi Coates, adrienne maree brown, Tongo Eisen-Martin, Jamilah Lemieux, Hanif Abdurraqib, and John Jennings. Commentary, prose, interviews: it's all there, intertwined beautifully. A recommended read for anyone interested in the subtler ways racism manifests in our society.

Wow! I was impressed with this book. It's not easy to collect so many voices and have all of the writing be good! These are some masterful editors at work here!
I appreciate the directness of the theme and the challenge to put into words how individuals are concretely working against white supremacy. And their own sharing at the end of each chapter is personal and human. Well done!
