I recently discovered journal therapy and had started my own journal albeit very grumpily. Despite being my own idea I wasn't doing a great deal with it. Whilst reading this book though I've ended up writing reams. There's been some soul searching, recognising patterns of behaviour, seeing how my parents relationships affected my thinking, seeing how other people affected my thinking and some very eye opening A-ha moments.

If this book had turned up on my to-do list 10 years ago I would maybe have read it, said it was ok and then dismissed it and not done any exercises. I think sometimes you have to be in the right mind frame with self help books and me 10 years ago was a very different, closed off person. Having at least attempted the journal this year I was open to healing and so every chapter resonated and I did all the exercises even the ones that were painful to deal with. Those A-ha moments have really made me think.

The book is full of warmth and humour and advice as well as having you take stock of the past and letting it go. Forgiveness is key and rewriting your love story (view on love). I would highly recommend this one

“Attract the love you are oh-so-worthy of”

Dating, the awful D word that for most people brings out copious amounts of anxiety and over thinking. Am I doing it right, and I doing it wrong, am I being too judgemental or am I being too closed off! Wether your just dipping your feet back into the dating pool or you are diving head first into the deep end there’s something in here for everyone.

Jordanna doesn’t sugar coat dating in the age of dating apps and bares her hard truths to help others learn from her life experiences and in-depth research.

Part one is about you, discovering your values and strengthening your vibrations. The exercises in this part was extremely valuable. Part 2 covers different types of love and developing your self worth. Part 3 was my favourite, learning to date differently. Dating isn’t what it used to be and the go to guide for landing a hot date.

@jordannalevin thank you for putting this book into the universe. It’s so reassuring to know that I’m not alone.

“Don’t ever let your hope, worth of validation rest in the hands of someone else’s unwillingness to choose you”
