Cute, cute book about an artistic, creative little red-headed girl whose "abilities" get her into trouble.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE these books! If you have a child making the jump from readers to chapter books these are great. It's hard to find cute, fun, stories for this skill level. There is tons of junk, but not a ton of good stories with realistic kids who find solutions to problems on their own with guidance from adults (who are there and NOT the enemy).

My only problem? There aren't more of them. So Sara please keep writing them!

Cute story about a girl who's paying attention, but not in the way adults want. Her mind goes a mile a minute. And she always has the best of intentions, but alas, things seldom turn out as she wished they would. One of my favorite aspects of this book was her growing up in a non-magazine home. :)

Absolutely adorable. A little like Junie B. Jones.

Cute book in the vein of Junie B. or Ramona. Clementine finds trouble, but she is loved. And hilarious.

Yayyyy Clementine! I've wanted to read this book ever since it came out. The fun and "orangey-ness" of the cover totally appealed to me, and I heard lots of praise for this chapter books featuring an irreverent little girl. Except I had to deal with that thing called college and that thing called keeping up a YA book blog.... Anyway, the point being, I finally got to read this with an ELL310 class. It maybe wasn't quite as delightful as I had wanted it to be--some of the scrapes that Clementine gets herself into had me slapping my jaded adult forehead in dismay at her lack of forethought--but I think it's still safe to say that CLEMENTINE could be the female answer to [b:Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing|37741|Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing (Fudge, #1)|Judy Blume|https://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1348056399s/37741.jpg|879886], a juvenile fiction favorite of mine. Definitely recommended to all elementary school-aged girls!

The narration was cute and it was engaging for my 5 year old. We had a few good convos about friendships and how they change.

Really good for the 2nd and 3rd graders...and so cute! And so funny! I love the interaction Clementine has with adults.
