3.5/5 stars.
I’m really fucking torn because on one hand this was too good and cute but on the other hand the cheating confession along with the cold shoulder after the initial reaction was too vast for me to overlook.
Dude literally said "oh wow she didn’t take this like I thought she would and got the fuck out after I dropped the huge fucking bomb I was hiding. I guess she spooks easily and is not mature enough to sit and discuss, this won’t work out" LIKE WTF okay you worked on yourself and acknowledged your huge mistake is that supposed to make it easier to swallow? Should she have a time period predefined by you to process this info? I don’t understand why or how this was acceptable.
And I still don’t understand why in 2023 we’re still excusing cheaters.
Up until that point?
Solid 5/5 give me spice and humour and unbelievable cheesy chemistry, I’d buy it up every single time and say thank you.
But I don’t understand when conflict needs to de created why we’re suddenly presented with huge ethical dilemmas and stupid reactions. Couldn’t that be anything else more insignificant?
Why ruin all the fun you spent so much effort to build with a moronic plot revelation?
ALL MY FUN WAS RUINED. I mean I was still rooting for a hea but realistically I shouldn’t by this point.
Anyway, I’m still pissed because I wasn’t expecting such shitty behaviour in this and it completely blindsided me.

I really liked the concept of this book being centered around a dating show, but I do wish there was more of a wonder on who she’d end up with. Ending was a little predictable because of it. Also I loved Connor for most of the book but I wavered on him three quarters in. But glad fizzy is happy.
Fizzy is the greatest heroine of all time. I am so in love with this book and continuously amazed by how phenomenal Christina and Lauren are at writing these brilliant stories and characters.
I’m so happy we still had glimpses of River and Jess in this book, but most importantly had Juno and her wisdom thrown in too.
If I could give this book more than 5 stars I would.

Disappointing. I’ve enjoyed other Christina Lauren titles and really wanted a fun, light read. I just couldn’t get past Fizzy, trying to imagine why any of the other characters found her attractive and likable. She irritated the heck out of me, and (as another reviewer noted) needed to get past the “Hot DILF,” “Hot Lumberjack” and constant mention of dicks if she wanted to score any likability points. The story was indeed formulaic, which doesn’t bother me as much with romance novels, but everything else fell short. Great audiobook narration.
