The beginning was kind of slow and could’ve been trimmed down. But I was completely invested in the romance, so I pushed through. The bonus content was also a bit lengthy and unnecessary, but I suppose that’s why they called it bonus.

I really liked this! Fizzy is a great character, with depth. Its refreshing to read a MFC in her 30s with a successful career and plenty of life (and sexual) experience. The slow burn is tense here!
The audiobook narrators were only ok - it was often hard to tell dialogue apart from narration.

Bekentenis van de dag: ik kijk al eens graag naar van die reality shows waarin mensen de liefde zoeken. Je weet wel, Love is Blind soort dingen en zo.

Dit boek is de perfecte ode aan zulke reality shows én aan romance novels.

Wat me vooral opviel was dat de twee hoofdpersonages goed met elkaar communiceren desondanks dat ze het moeilijk hebben met bepaalde emoties of ontwikkelingen. Geen toxische relatie, geen gevoelens achterhalen, open communicatie,... Heerlijk!

Ideaal boek om te lezen tijdens de vakantie.
