the ending tied the story up nicely but getting through the first half of this book was exhausting mainly because i personally did not like Fizzy as a character

I did enjoy this one as well as the 1st. I wonder what John Marrs thinks of it since it is a much more light hearted The One but same matches plot. I would recommend anything by c.lauren or j.marrs but def different writing styles :-D

Not a fan of the female narrator. I didn’t want to listen to her chapters. I ended up skipping them and reading those through a hardback copy.

I had just finished happy place when I picked this up, and it was like a breath of fresh air. It was engaging, hard to put down, a little bit raunchy and just overall very fun.

I thought this was a very unique concept and I def liked the chemistry between the main characters. overall a great time

There's no argument against how great the writing is. I just felt that the main characters didn't have any actual feelings for each other. Just lust. I know they tried to incorporate situations that made it seem that way, but it didn't translate. 
I'm disappointed because I really liked Fizzy's character.
