I had really high expectations for this as i loved the first in this duo... This one disappointed me though and i really wasn't expecting it!

I loved the FMC Fizzy- she is hilarious and a breath of fresh air- i just really didnt like the MMC and didnt buy into their chemisty or love. It felt really quick and rushed which usually i dont really mind but it didnt work for me this time!

This was just as good as The Soulmate Equation. Once again, such a fun concept. I loved the tension and yearning. I loved Fizzy so much, what a fun FMC!

I will say, at a certain point it did feel like they were being a lil dramatic about not being able to be together. I get the risks to his job but like… the stakes didn’t feel super real. that said, it all came together in a really sweet way.

Speaking of sweet, that might be my new fav nick name 🥰

And just like the Soulmate Equation, I loved the epilogue. I love when romance authors find a unique way to do an epilogue!
