3.5 stars but I would certainly like it if I was a teenager (which is probably the target audience)

Brett and Becca were a rare example of a rather healthy relationship between teens. Most think they are in love and do stupid crap. These two got to know one another, had problems with life they helped each other with, and did have problems that separated them for a bit but after having time to think they realize the person they want to tell the good and bad to, to look to for support, is one another. The unexpected comes from the least likely of places.

I first read this story when it was published in Episode and I remember waiting for chapters to be uploaded one by one, I was 12 years old when I fell in love with every single character , I remember having my first fictional crush, I was so excited when a sequel was also uploaded years later, and I remember binge reading it when it reached wattpad, so seeing this book published made me so excited!(come on Hollywood adapt it into a movie already!)
I was more than thrilled to be reading about Becca and Brett again, but I was really sad that Cassie had a very small part in the book when she was a major character in Episode, also we didn't get to see Becca and Parker become friends, He was also playing a small part, i think he was mentioned like 2 or 3 times. I think this book also downplayed Becca's insecurities and anxiety when it comes to trusting people. I absolutely love this story! But I think a lot of things were dropped when adapting it into the upside of falling which really made me sad since they were so important to the plot.

i went into this book thinking it was gonna be a cute romcom but instead it was just a cliche romance between 2 equally boring characters whose only personality traits are their daddy issues.

3.5 stars. Overall was a really cute romance. Also liked that the main character Becca loved to read a lot.

c’était bien nul…j’ai trouvé ça vide j’avais juste qu’une envie c’était d’en finir avec ce livre. il était court pourtant j’ai l’impression d’avoir lu 700 pages non franchement je pense que j’ai passé l’âge du young adult

I enjoyed this book - it had a good story and found myself really into the book. Would recommend this book to people who like young adult books.
