I really enjoyed this book. I started reading it thinking it would be a typical little rom com but it really was so much more.

The development of both Brett and Becca’s understanding of coming to terms with emotions, past pain and moving forward was really unexpected and welcomed.

I also loved that there was some focus on platonic relationships as well as a love story.

Plus I nearly 😢 at one stage which is a shock for me in a romcom.

Only didn’t make it 5 as I don’t think I need to read it again but I would definitely recommend.

This book was very fast paced and while I did find the characters to be quite cute together I didnt think the book to be anything special. It does involve dual pov which was lovely to read.

I really enjoyed this book!! It was so cute!

I feel like the beginning of the book went really, really fast and some of the characters feelings felt a little rushed, but I really liked how it wasn't a slow burn.

The main thing that bothered me was that she THREW HER BOOKS IN THE LAKE. WHAT WAS THAT?? UGH

but I loved the rest of it. It was really refreshing to have such a happy and loving male love interest.
I also love how you can totally tell this was a wattpad book and I'm here for it.

definitely reread material ✅

Such a cute little romance. Fairly light and friendly, although it does deal with topics such as infidelity so if that's something that affects you it might not feel as relaxing. I loved so much of this book! I don't think it was revolutionary, but it was perfect for it's role as a sweet high-school romance.
