Loved the main characters, however, the storyline is undeniably predictable, light, and adorned with picture-perfect side characters and a lot of clichés. I chose to pick this up to mend a wound by my previous read so I enjoyed it more than I should as someone who has outgrown such narratives, so take my opinions with a pinch of sugar. If you need an escape for a heartwarming story that won't leave you emotionally distraught, then this is that book.

I couldn’t get through the book. The writing was okay, but the plot was not very engaging for me. The characters didn’t attract me, but I should’ve read the description better. I don’t think I’m in the right age group anymore for these types of books.
