"This is Forever." Le sigh. Love it! ^.^
"Frigid" had me feeling anything but frigid while reading it. This was a sweet story about two longtime best friends, Kyler and Sydney, who find themselves afraid of following their feelings for one another, thinking that the other doesn't share said feelings. I read this ebook in one sitting and it's just further proof that Jennifer L. Armentrout, aka J. Lynn, is a fab NA writer. ^.^
My main reason for holding off on that one star that would have given it a perfect five-star rating was the feeling of frustration I had for quite a bit. Kyler and Sydney had feelings for each other and seemed to be the only ones oblivious to how mutual those feelings were! >.< There were stops and starts to them finally 'fessing up that I was tempted to shout "Get on with it, you two!" last night. Hahaha! And, okay, Kyler seemed to call her "baby" way more than I found acceptably cute so four out of five stars it is. ^.^
This appears to be a series in the making and I'm wondering if the next book will be a continuation of Kyler and Sydney's story BUT if you guys don't like cliffhanger endings, go ahead and read "Frigid". Definitely worth the time you put in. ^.^

I expected a bit more tbh. I love Jennifer Armentrout but I just didn't fall in love with this book like I have done with all her other books. Maybe I would have liked it more if it was longer and seen more of Syd and Kyler' s relationship before they went away together because even though they have known each other for years I haven't seen that and it all seemed a bit rushed.
I loved Andrea and Tanner - will there be a book about them next? I love the banter between syd and Kyler and their sex scenes were hot
Now I'm just being picky but at one point the spelling if Zach went to Zack (possibly only noticed because that is also my son's name) but it bugged me a bit.

Enjoyment factor would be a 3 since it was a cute fun read, but I dropped a star for errors in writing.

This is one of the few NA books where I didn't want to strangle either leading role, and that's rare for me. Sydney and Kyler are intelligent, well rounded, and gorgeous but still face the insecurities that make them human. Often times, I feel like the reader misses out on what the guy is really thinking because we have to rely solely on the female POV. Not the case here because we get Kyler's POV too.
Sydney was adorable. I liked how she self analyzed herself and recognized when she was being irrational, most of the time. We got to see Kyler insecurities too, which hardly ever happens with the lead hunk!

- Misunderstandings galore: these two don't know how to communicate at all, so even though we're meant to believe 'This is Forever', I give them about 6 months. It will be one of those good things that were good while they lasted.

- I hated how every woman Kyler slept with was somehow a total floozy and was totally ok with just screwing him and not having him remember her name the next day. They were all worthless and not like Sydney, who was NOT LIKE THE OTHER GIRLS. The one that was pure and beautiful and put on the pedestal. That bit about how he takes all the other girls from behind but Sydney 'deserves better' almost made me gag. Also does that mean they are doomed with the missionary position until the end of days?
