I am thoroughly disappointed that I missed out on growing up with a best guy friend and fell in love with him. And this book made me feel that way even more. One thing about this book that I really, REALLY just cannot stand, is the fact that it's obvious very little research was of into the university of Maryland. Maryland is my home state and EVERYONE knows that it is U M D. NOT "u of m". I know, I know, such a silly thing to be so bothered by. But Maryland is a small state, and it's really rare to find a book that takes place (partly) in MD, so when I do find one, and there's an inaccuracy in it, it makes me so stinking irritated. UMD. UMD. UMD. UMD. UMD. U M D gosh darn it. UMD.
Okay, I'm done going off on a silly detail. To the story. I loved the tenderness and love they have for each other. I mean, it's so blatantly obvious that they are hopelessly in love with each other. And it is absolutely adorable. And when Sydney is drunk and sings that song in the snow before attempting to kiss Kyler, OH MY GOSH, I was DYING. I nearly cried from laughing.
The racy parts of the book weren't disgusting, but sweet. I could feel the love they had for each other. I mean, I read this book in like, 3 hours (combined of the 2 "days" it took to read) because I was just so hooked. Oh this book. The perfect love story of two best friends

The last 1/3 of the book saved it. . . I almost DNFd halfway through and this is by far the worst review I've ever given a jennifer l armentrout book but there was just too much angst and tension and will they won't they for me. It just wasn't my cup of tea but that's not to say it wasn't a good book. . . It was just really hard for me to get through. . .

in jennifer l. armentrout I trust...and was betrayed by this book

I can not exactly pinpoint it but some part about the "romance"  makes me quite uncomfortable
(partly bc I do not like the entire pure and naive thing which add to the picture of a strangely childish fMC)

The sad story of unrequited love.. or is it? Sydney has been in love with Kyler since he pushed her down on the playground, but Kyler is more the love 'em and leave 'em kind. Watching her best friend spend night after night with a different girl, she can't help but wonder why he has never seen her that way. When the two of them get snowed in alone, things get interesting.
