So I'm on a 'stuck in a cabin together and forced to realize your feelings for each other' kick and this book totally met my expectations. This is the story of Sydney and Kyler. It's the basic best friends who have been in love with each other forever but are too afraid to do anything kind of story. Kyler dealt with his hidden feelings by pretty much screwing anything in a skirt who wasn't Sydney. Sydney dealt with her feelings by pretty much not dating anyone and secretly pining after the man-whore Kyler. Then they are forced to stay in the same cabin together while they wait out a snowstorm. Thye lose power and as the cabin gets colder things between them seriously heat up. Kyler was really a sweetheart once he got past the whole manslut thing. When he realized that Sydney reciprocated his feelings he pretty much did a 180 and got his shit together. He knew what he wanted (Sydney) and pretty much did everything he could to make sure that happened. Sydney took a little longer to get with the picture because she had such a hard time believing that Kyler seriously wanted to be with her. There is also a whole mystery stalker storyline mixed into the story that I didn't really care about but it did add a bit more texture to the overall storyline. I also really enjoyed the alternating POV. I lived for hearing what Kyler had to say because that boy seriously was sweet but did not have a great way with the spoken word lol. It made listening to him talk from Sydney's point of view upsetting because I knew what he was trying to say but was hearing it how Sydney heard it which totally sucked. But yeah anyways it was a good read. OH I almost forgot. There was no point in the book where he is talking around with his stupid sweater open with nothing under it. Just thought i'd point out that the cover does'nt even have any significance to the storyline.

2.5 Stars. An easy read on my own "snow day" getting out from work early and navigating overwrought public transportation home.
Too much with the constant misunderstandings on both sides and good lord Sydney has less than zero confidence and a paranoia/anxiety level that prooobably requires medication... to the point where I started wondering how the normal day-to-day of the friendship between Sydney and Kyler could have gone on as long as it did.

Sydney is in love with Kyler, his best friend since forever. It's their last year in college and she is still afraid to say something that will forever change their relationship. For him, she is perfect and so the story begins, it's sweet and hot, and definitely loved their relationship. I truly enjoyed Sydney's smart mouth, her struggles, and how Kyler saw her. Definitely a book I would recommend reading.

No, asi 2,5 hvězdiček, nějak mě to úplně nechytlo, bylo to naspáno celkem čtivě, ale strašně moc uměle vyhrocené.. Zatím asi nejslabší kniha od J.Lynn, co jsem četla...
